Get Involved in Connecting With Kids!

NOMINATIONS SOUGHT FOR CONNECTING WITH KIDS LEADERSHIP AWARDS

Connecting With Kids believes that the community and all of its members have a powerful influence on the development of our youth. To encourage more community members to actively seek out ways that they can connect with kids, we will host a Leadership Breakfast on Thursday, February 23rd, 2012. The breakfast will honor individuals and organizations within the city of Edina that have consistently worked to build assets in our youth with Leadership Awards. We are currently accepting nominations for the Leadership Awards. Individuals or groups nominated should share our vision to be a community where all children have the support they need to grow up to be responsible, healthy and caring adults. They do not need to be currently affiliated with Connecting With Kids, the City of Edina, or Edina Public Schools, but the nominees must have had a direct and positive impact on the youth of Edina.

To submit a nomination, please be sure to include:

Your name and contact information.

The person or organization you are nominating, along with their contact information.
The reason they should receive a Leadership Award from Connecting With Kids. 1000 word limit.

Submissions must be received no later than Sunday, January 15th, 2012. Send them to info@connectingwithkidsedina.org. The winners of the 4th annual Connecting With Kids Leadership Awards will be chosen by the Connecting With Kids Board of Directors. Winners will be notified prior to the Leadership Breakfast.
